Can i install the sauna outdoors?
Can I have my sauna outside?
Yes, absolutely — our saunas are designed to be installed outdoors and are built to withstand the elements year-round.
Here's why:
The structural frame is made from rust-proof aluminium, ensuring long-term durability without corrosion, even in coastal or high-humidity environments.
The roof is constructed using stainless steel, offering both strength and complete resistance to rust or weather-related wear. Its cantilever design also allows for efficient water runoff, protecting the sauna from rain and debris.
Every material used is selected to handle sun, rain, wind, and snow, making the sauna fully resilient in harsh outdoor conditions.
So yes, you can confidently install your sauna outside knowing it’s built to last — no matter what the weather throws at it.
Are the saunas easy to install?
Our saunas are super easy to put together. Each one comes with a clear manual and step-by-step videos to walk you through it. You don’t need a professional, but having 2–3 people around definitely helps—more hands make things easier and safer. With our simple instructions and a bit of teamwork, you’ll have your sauna up and ready to enjoy in just 45 to 90 minutes.
Do you offer Installation?
We do offer delivery and installation services to most most of the north island, if you are outside this area please get in touch and we can try to assist with a installation person.
Infrared Sauna or traditional heating?
Traditional Sauna (e.g. Harvia Stove):
Heats the air and sauna stones, creating a high-temperature environment (70–100°C).
Feels like a classic Finnish sauna with steam (löyly) when water is poured over the hot stones.
Deep sweating, relaxation, and a more intense, immersive heat.
Those who enjoy a hotter environment, the ritual of steam, and the authentic sauna experience.
Infrared Sauna:
Uses infrared panels to directly heat your body, not the air.
Lower air temperature (around 40–60°C), but still promotes deep sweating.
Can aid in muscle recovery, joint pain relief, and detoxification with a gentler heat.
People who prefer a milder heat or want a quicker, more targeted wellness session.
Summary:
Choose a traditional sauna for the full heat and steam experience. Go with an infrared sauna if you want something lower-temp, more accessible, and focused on recovery and therapeutic benefits.
Ho do i clean and maintain my sauna?
Keeping your sauna clean and well-maintained is easy. After each use, simply wipe down the benches and walls with a soft cloth to remove sweat or moisture. Leave the door open for a while to let it air out and dry. For a deeper clean, use a mild natural cleaner or a mixture of water and white vinegar—avoid harsh chemicals. Every few weeks, you can gently vacuum or sweep the floor. If your sauna has a heater guard or accessories, give them a quick wipe too. With regular care, your sauna will stay fresh, hygienic, and ready to enjoy for years to come.
How hot does the sauna get?
Traditional saunas typically operate between 70–100°C (158–212°F), providing an authentic and deeply relaxing heat experience. The temperature is adjustable depending on your comfort.
Can I pour water on the sauna stones?
Absolutely. Pouring water on the heated stones produces steam (called löyly in Finnish), adding humidity and intensifying the heat sensation. This is a key part of the traditional sauna ritual.
Is it safe to use daily?
Yes. Many people use traditional saunas daily for stress relief, muscle recovery, and overall wellness. As with any heat therapy, stay hydrated and listen to your body.

Benefits of Tiered Bench Seating
Tiered benches allow users to choose their preferred heat level, with upper benches offering warmer temperatures. This design improves heat circulation, maximizes seating capacity, and enhances comfort, giving everyone a more flexible and relaxing sauna experience. The ability to move between levels also promotes better circulation and deeper muscle relaxation, making tiered seating a key feature of a premium sauna.
